This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am writing to request an HP laptop to enhance both the instructional delivery and the overall learning experience within our Special Education program. This technology will be instrumental in supporting the unique needs of our students, including those who are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH), across grades K through 8.

In addition, the HP laptop will play a key role in supporting my ongoing professional development as an educator, allowing me to access training, resources, and tools that will further improve my teaching practices and student outcomes.

Our students face a wide range of challenges that require continuous academic assistance and close monitoring. As their teacher, I am committed to finding the most effective strategies and resources to meet their diverse needs. Ongoing professional development and graduate-level courses are vital to improving my instructional practices and ensuring student success in a rapidly evolving educational landscape.

The integration of an HP laptop into my daily teaching and professional development will have an immediate and lasting impact. The knowledge and skills I acquire through its use will translate directly into dynamic, interactive lessons; visually engaging presentations; and real-time demonstrations of concepts across content areas. The portability of the HP laptop will also allow me to extend learning opportunities beyond the classroom through virtual professional development, online classes, and collaborative projects.
