This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is comprised of amazing students, many of whom come from bilingual households and receive free or reduced price lunch. The chance to travel and see the many different and incredible things about our country and our world may never be attainable to them. I always tell my students the easiest and most inexpensive way to travel is through reading. This project will help them achieve the ability to travel to somewhere new and exciting while learning valuable life lessons.
My Project
Your generous donation to our project will improve my third grade classroom by building successful readers. Being successful readers is fundamental for success in every part of our daily lives. My students will use these books in a class book study to learn various skills beneficial in becoming successful readers. By giving my students the tools to improve their reading skills you will be gifting them with tools they will use for the rest of their lives.

The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." - Dr. Seuss
