My Students
Physical Education is important to all students! When students are able to play, laugh and have fun, they learn better!
Our school is K-5.
Students have different skill levels throughout the building. All students should have the opportunity to play and experience a wide variety of games, build relationships with their peers, and create a sense of community while MOVING and having FUN!
When students have the chance to play on a daily basis, they are able to experience physical activity in a positive way. Physical activity and exercise helps build brains cells, too!
As a free and reduced-price lunch school, many of our students don't have the opportunity to participate in activities outside of the traditional school day. Our physical education classroom provides students with opportunities to play and experience activities they may not normally be involved in outside of school.
My Project
The Technoskin Foam Balls will be used by my students in physical education class. The foam balls are a great resource when working on throwing and catching skills as well as rolling activities. They are soft and can be used by all of my K-5 students.
The Technoskin Foam Balls can be easy incorporated into any activity I need them for during PE!
Students can work on throwing at a target during a fun game of Battleship or toss them back and forth to work on their catching skills. As students grow, their skill level need to grow as well. We use the Technoskin Foam Balls to help them increase their skill level as well as the fun level too!
More than half of students from low‑income households
