This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books will provide a good background for teachers and students to understand what happens in the brain when we read. They will be part of a professional library to be shared with our staff. The ultimate goal is to increase reading achievement at our school.

Understanding how we learn to read makes us better teachers of reading.

These titles support literacy research and capacity building in our school.

Once we know better, we can do better. These books are the theoretical springboard for teaching reading effectively. It's time to put research into action and watch the growth!
