As an educator, I know that poor air quality can trigger a host of health problems, including asthma and allergies. These chronic conditions increase absenteeism, reduce academic performance, resulting in increase mental health issues. Research links key environmental factors to health outcomes and students’ ability to perform.
I am requesting HEPA replacement filter which will be utilized in our room to facilitate a healthy environment, increase our mental health knowing we are breathing clean air, and spark student interest in environmental science.
