My Students
The elementary school that I work at is such a special place! Our students come to school each day ready to take on another day of learning. I am proud to say that every staff member at my school strives to provide the best place to learn for our students.
My goal is to create a school and classroom environment that is inviting, engaging, meaningful, and full of passion!
My classroom is a safe place where learning is fun but adds meaning to their lives.
My students are the most enthusiastic group of students I have had yet. Each and every one of them brings something unique to our classroom. Due to being a Title I school, many of our students come from low-income backgrounds. No matter what their background, our students deserve the very best! Thanks to your donations, I will continue to be able to do whatever I can to help my students succeed and move on to be successful members of society!
My Project
We began implementing the house system at VH last year. It has been very successful so far! Our students take pride in their house and work hard to earn points for their house.
This year we want to start the year off with full force and a ton of house pride!
Students meet with their houses twice a month. At our first meeting, students will work together with their house buddies to create a house crest. We are working together with a t-shirt company to have the winning crest for each house printed on t-shirts. Students will wear these t-shirts every Friday for house spirit day. This project will provide the funds to pay for the t-shirts.
