Hot Cocoa on the Go

Help me give my students an electric kettle and Thermos to take hot cocoa or tea with us on outdoor adventures.

My Project

My kindergarten class takes weekly outdoor adventures to explore the beautiful natural environment where we live. We are lucky to live close to Lake Superior to enjoy the beach and waves in the fall and spring. In the winter we go ice skating or take snowshoe hikes.

A Thermos and electric kettle will help us pack hot cocoa to take along on our outdoor adventures.

Taking a hot cocoa break will allow us to gather together as a class community to enjoy each other's company while warming up. Circling up for hot cocoa will also give us a chance to share what we notice about the surroundings, and what has changed since we last visited this natural space.
