Hospitality at Its Finest

Help me give my students items will help our students in our Hospitality, Career and Technical Education (CTE) track get the realistic experience in their classroom lab.

My Project

Our high school used to have a very robust Hospitality program as one of our Career and Technical Education (CTE) tracks. However, the program nearly had to shut down 3 years ago when we lost 2/3rds of our school to asbestos that needed to be abated. The students lost their entire lab and many of the supplies that came with and were confined to a small classroom. We need dishes, napkins and a dispenser.

Next year the students will be able to move back into their large and elaborate lab but unfortunately, many of the supplies that allowed the students to get a realistic experience have not been recovered.

Our students, among the barriers they already experience from living in an under-resources neighborhood, have lost so much of the high school experience they deserved. Please help our students get the hands on experience of the hospitality program that will set them up for careers and success in the future.
