Help me give my students a horseshoe table for small group learning in reading, writing and math!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Shuler's classroom raised $400

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students and I are need a horseshoe table in the classroom! The table would allow me to hold small group learning opportunities in reading, math and writing.
Small group learning has been scientifically proven to increase student engagement and learning.
With fewer students in each group, each student has more opportunities to actively participate in discussions, practice problems and collaboration with peers.
Small group learning also allows for differentiated instruction, enhanced peer collaboration, immediate feedback and assessment and improved teacher-student relationships. When small group learning would not be taking place, the table would allow for flexible seating in the classroom. Students may use this table for activities such as project-based learning, jigsaw, peer instruction, STEM activities and many more!
