Help me give my students more space to work in small groups! This table is needed in my kindergarten ICT classroom because we are currently doing small group work on the floor.
I teach in an ICT Kindergarten classroom in the Bronx, NY. This table will help my students engage in small group work with their teacher and peers. Right now, we are working in small groups on the floor which is distracting and uncomfortable for students.
Our old kidney table (featured in the picture) unfortunately broke and now we are without small group seating.
It has been especially challenging for students with Special Needs to adapt to this change.
We use the kidney table during all areas of instruction and it is also used as a "quiet space" when students just need to take a break.
