This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Helping students meet their potential while exploring technology is an ongoing objective in my classroom.

Many students in my school do not have the means to acquire robotics and coding technology.

Getting exposure to technology that they might not normally have access to is my goal. Making efforts to achieve that "Best Day Ever" status is what education is all about!

Due to the pandemic, many students have gaps in their learning. My current class spent the end of 2nd grade, all of 3rd grade, and part of 4th grade in virtual learning. This atmosphere made it near to impossible to meet the varied needs of the multiple learning styles and intelligences. Proficiency in content area standards including Math, Science and Reading had substantial gaps in learning with many of my students is a very real issue.

By providing my students access to STEM materials, my hope is to contribute to their lifelong quest for growth and knowledge.
