Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

HOPE group is a safe space for students who are dealing with the struggles of loss and separation in their lives. Through art therapy/group discussions we are able to help support the students and find ways to help them destress in school so that they can be successful academically and emotionally. With the supplies ordered, such as acrylic paint, students are able to complete their "Worry Free Jars" and canvas paintings the students express themselves artistically. Students participate twice a week in group and are anxious to bring their peers and support each other daily!
