Help me give my students headphones to use for learning activities on their Chromebooks.

My Project

My school is a 1:1 Chromebook district, and my second graders use their devices daily to access a wide variety of educational tools—reading books online, practicing math fluency, building vocabulary, and even recording their own stories. Technology is a powerful tool in our classroom, but without working headphones, it quickly becomes a noisy and distracting experience.

Right now, most of our classroom headphones are falling apart and falling off!

Wires are frayed, ear cushions are missing, and many pairs no longer work at all. With 22 students all trying to learn at once, having no headphones (or broken ones) makes it hard for them to concentrate and truly benefit from the resources available to them.

That’s why I’m asking for your help. A class set of Lakeshore Listening Center Headphones—sturdy, kid-friendly, and comfortable—would make a huge difference. These headphones will help students focus during independent work, participate more fully in lessons, and engage more deeply in their learning without being distracted by background noise.
