My Project

I teach the most amazing and unique second graders around! My classroom is very diverse, including English language learners, special education students, and students receiving speech, language, or behavioral support. What unites us as a community is that each child comes to school with a deep desire to create, solve problems, and learn. This project is for books, activities and snacks to celebrate 100 days of learning!

Celebrations are excellent rewards for student success and great motivators for continued growth!

I want our 100th day of school to be a special one with lots of fun learning as we celebrate being 100 days smarter!

I will begin with a 100th Day read aloud book. We will then complete two STEM activities I can download and print from the TPT website. This is what the gift card is for. These, along with other writing activities and math challenges may be saved and used for years to come. At the end of the day, we will celebrate with a snack and each student will have their picture taken. A big 100th Day banner will be the photo backdrop. Each child will take home their photo along with a certificate of achievement.
