This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In first grade, my students are expected to learn and mastered many math objectives. They must be given several opportunities in class to practice math.
Therefore, I’m asking for the math calendar and the math number line to give my students the chance to practice math daily.
The daily practice will help them learn and reinforce the math objectives. I do see how my students struggle and how difficult it is for them is to understand math. Therefore, I know that the math calendar and the number line will be great resources that my students could see, touch, and move while they practice math.
