Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are sweet little 5 year olds that come from immigrant families. Our school services many refugee families that come from all over the world. The SES of our families is 95% low income and our first priority for these children that live in poverty is to provide a safe place where they can come to learn and eat nutritional meals. Once these children earn our trust and feel safe, they are excited to discover and learn through our educational programs.

My Project

My classroom community consists of refugee families that come from counties from all over the world. For most of them, this is their first experience as a student and these wonderful hands on activities will give them a chance to practice what they are learning.

I want to be able to provide an enriched learning environment offering a variety of learning tools that will make learning exciting.

These addition and subtraction math learning games will provide just that for my students. Thank You so much for donating to my classroom.
