My Project
My students are the definition of resilience and Houston Strong. The majority of my students are at-risk and economically disadvantaged youth, yet these labels do not stop my students from chasing and achieving their goals. Many of my students come from single-parent homes and will be the first in their families to receive a high school diploma. The students within my classroom can be productive and successful citizens of the United States with a little help and guidance.
As an educator, it is my job to provide my students with a collaborative space where they can learn from each other.
I have created an opportunity for my students to have MacBooks while in their technology class. Since the deployment of those MacBooks. It has been hard to manage collaboration without a single housing station. This MacBook will serve as a collaborative hub that will connect to our in-class Macbook set.
