Coaching my middle school boys basketball team is such a rewarding part of my role as a teacher. These athletes are not just learning how to play basketball but how to be leaders and learn lessons through teamwork. Every basketball and piece of equipment I'm requesting will make a tangible difference in our team's success, both on and off the court.
With enough basketballs, players can practice drills effectively, develop their skills, and build confidence they need during the games.
Last year we lost a lot of our basketballs, so having new ones this year would be tremendous. Additional training equipment will enhance our conditioning and preparation, making sure every player has the tools they need to grow.
My goals for this season extend far beyond wins and losses. I aim to foster a sense of community, teach the value of hard work, and help my players see the potential they have.
