My Students

My students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with over 50% of our students receiving free lunch. Our school is also one of the most ethnically diverse schools in Queens. Students speak a multitude of languages including English, Spanish, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Arabic.

My Project

These supplies will allow students to practice their skills and conditioning.

Students will have less downtime and more time to work on their game.

This team has 1 &1/2 hours for practice. Time goes by very fast. Having enough equipment will allow all students to participate in drills at the same time. Our coach, Mr. Mujko, and players are passionate about basketball and want to be the best players that they can be. After a year of social distancing, they cannot wait to get back on the court.
