This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

August is around the corner, and it is time to prepare for the new school year, and what better way than by improving our classroom? Our students have been working extremely hard attending tutorials, and interventions, and completing all their work despite coming from a low-income community, recently arriving from another country, and learning a new language.

Please help us get a jump start by adding heavy-duty hooks for backpacks, double-sided tape to display our work, hooks for our Word Wall words, and magnets for our vocabulary words!

Our classroom does not have storage closets. We are running out of space trying to keep backpacks from getting in the way or falling off the chairs. Also, with rain pouring down our ceiling tiles, the tape we use to display our classwork easily falls off. We are tired of worrying about these things that can easily be fixed. Please help us worry about one less thing.
