My Students
We are apart of a K-8 school in Brooklyn, New York. Every day that my fifth graders and I spend on Google Meets together is a day filled with excitement, discovery and enrichment. We are a blended remote class of 51 students made up of a diverse mix of cultures, languages and abilities.
They are working diligently to make the most of remote learning!
My Project
This project includes two things that will help my students succeed during their blended remote learning experience. The first being, a second computer monitor. This will give me the ability to see my students while also sharing my screen in order to model or engage them. Without a second screen it is extremely difficult to answer questions and have them participate throughout the presentation of a video or Google Slides. Being able to include my students in discussions throughout will help them comprehend the information being taught. The document camera is also another tool that I utilize to show my kids how to solve math problems, draw models, model their art assignments, and so much more!
