Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials that I am requesting are to honor students as members of the Spanish Honor Society and celebrate their academic excellence. There are many students that qualify to be members, but due to funds we find ourselves having to limit the amount of students admitted. Students at our school have worked hard all four years of high school all leading to graduation. There are very few opportunities offered for the students to gain recognition for their accomplishments and honoring them with their graduation cords would be a small but meaningful way to do so.
