This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My project is beneficial to my students learning as it will keep them organized, which is a life skill that will carry on later in life. Rather than scrambling to find their materials, students will know where their materials are and can focus more on the work they are doing. Having different options for them can be beneficial as it can give students the feeling of choice and being able to pick what they want.

When students’ desks are organized, their minds are organized.

In the past, I’ve stuck to one method of organization and I noticed it didn’t work well for every student, so my hope is that using boxes, pouches, or caddies can help every student be successful in their own way.
