Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of our students have difficulty with meeting their basic needs on a daily basis due to their circumstances. Students request simple items that can help change their moods to help start their day. These items will help improve their hygiene, provide a snack and helps minimize bullying and other unsafe/unhealthy behaviors. My students do appreciate the help that is sometimes out of their control. I make health and hygiene kits every year for students to keep in their lockers and use as needed. Your help is greatly appreciated and changes the lives of our students daily!
