Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
After nine years teaching middle school, I am making the jump to elementary school! With this transition, I want to focus on building a safe space where my students can grow and thrive. My goal is to provide a sophisticated, yet warm environment where my students feel safe enough to learn.
These desks and chairs will be used to give students a seating option when completing independent work.
I can just see my students now, writing away by the window of our classroom. These items will help give my classroom a "coffee shop feel," which I believe will contribute to a cohesive learning environment.
