Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year has grown to be one in which my students are overcoming great hurdles. They are still dealing with the setback of the pandemic, changing district policies, large classroom sizes, and little resources to help them learn. With this project, I hope to give my students resources for organization and additional resources that they may not have access to at home, like personal hygiene products.

These items albeit small, give students reminders that they are loved and someone is advocating for their learning and well being!

Additionally, this project is already adding to the existing self care corner I have in my classroom and will supplement the resources that are available for my students. Lastly, some resources will be used for teacher organization purposes and to create more space in the class room such as the standing desk!
