Home Sweet Classroom

My students need a "home sweet classroom" to come into every day. A cricut will allow me to enhance and maintain that cozy safe haven for them.

My Students

My students are 7th and 8th grade ELA scholars. We are located in a low-income urban setting. My students love to read even though it is an everyday challenge that we are conquering. It is extremely necessary to create this humble environment because they are hardworking and capable of overcoming any hardships that come their way.

To most of my students, the walls of my classroom are where they find the most comfort and ease.

Individuals, brilliant, motivated; my students are all unique in their own way. It is my job to give them everything that they deserve because they are the future. I want to inspire them to want to learn and give them the stability that they need in life so that they can soar.

My Project

I am a first year teacher starting from scratch. My walls and shelves were black and bare. I have spent a lot of my own money this year trying to give my students a sanctuary. I need help maintaining and enhancing the atmosphere that I hope to create.

A cricut will allow me to design an inviting, organized and encouraging environment that will only enhance student learning!

It will permit me to personalize, update and build a strong classroom decor which will encourage students to want to come in and join the learning fun! This includes classroom procedures, posters, anchor charts, supply organization, personalization of incentives, and endless creativity when it comes to student projects!
