Home Necessities for Preschoolers

Help me give my students hats and mittens to keep them warm, art supplies like playdough, crayons and paper to keep them busy, and workbooks to keep them learning at home though the long winter months!

My Students

We are back in our classroom and boy are we excited! Our school is located in a large, urban city and is predominantly a Title I funded school.

Age-appropriate lessons and hands-on meaningful experiences are key when teaching preschool children.

It is mandatory that I have enough materials for all my students in order to run my groups and lessons successfully. I try to teach independence and decision making which helps to empower the students. Their choices matter and I like to offer them many!

My Project

It's getting cold here in Michigan so it's time to bundle up! My students need hats and mittens to keep their hands and heads warm! Some of our kids walk or ride a bus to school so it is important that I know they are prepared for the elements! We also need laundry soap to make sure we can keep the new items fresh and clean!

It's also time to take the activities inside, so I want to send home workbooks, crayons, paper and play dough to ensure the kids can work at home with mom or dad and still keep the learning going!

Playdough, crayons, workbooks, and paper will keep the kids engaged and allow them to work at home on some of the important skills we are learning in class. Let's help keep the kids warm, clean and engaged and get the necessities covered!
