This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

After 23 years of teaching, my classroom has a plethora of books...one I am proud of. However, I've neglected the shelves and bins they are stored in. Metal shelves do not lend to the warm and safe environment I aim to achieve, nor is it very accessible for all students.

Students love to select their own books and have ownership of their choices...so an accessible and organized library system is a must!

These book racks and bins will mean the world in achieving this must. This project is a pricey one for sure, but I believe it is worth it, for the long run. Many thanks!
