This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In home economics, students learn important life skills like cooking, sewing, and nutrition, which are useful every day. They gain the ability to prepare healthy meals, make informed food choices, and take care of their bodies. Sewing lessons teach students how to repair or create their own clothes, saving money and building independence. These skills not only help students in daily life but also give them confidence to manage their own homes and make responsible decisions about their health and well-being.
