My Students

Our students have stressful lives that have them concerned about daily activities we wouldn't worry about such as transportation, or when they will eat their next healthy meal. So the school year is extremely stressful for them. They worry about how to get all of their school supplies to help them learn. By giving them the supplies to learn with, they can then concentrate on the learning at hand and not worry about having a crayon, pencil, glue stick, or binder to complete and store their work. Giving my students peace of mind allows them to open their minds and absorb all the content and curriculum they need to learn.

My Project

These items will help me teach my students from home and once in person teaching opens up be utilized in the classroom for social distancing, and work. The room divider will give me a place to show anchor charts that we make together during online learning in my home and provide a place to showcase work as well. The standing whiteboard will give me a place to create lessons while I’m video taping myself to post online so my kids can refer back to the lessons to help them learn. The gift card will help me obtain digital resources to aide in teaching my students.
