This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Learning about the Holocaust offers essential lessons about the consequences of hatred, prejudice, and indifference. Our approach to this topic will be age-appropriate, sensitive, and guided by educational best practices. This project is a critical part of our effort to educate students about the importance of tolerance, human rights, and historical understanding. Students will be using reliable, vetted resources to explore individual stories, historical events, and broader themes connected to the Holocaust. We are requesting easel pads, markers, glue sticks, and construction paper to complete this project.

The goals of this project are to develop students’ research and critical thinking skills, foster empathy and understanding through historical context, and encourage thoughtful discussion about justice, morality, and human behavior.
