My Students

Pandemic problems? Not in my virtual first grade! This year I have the honor of teaching 24 amazing students virtually.

They amaze every day with their love of learning, resiliency, creativity, and effort.

I was so worried that I would not be able to create a strong classroom community but boy was I wrong! Their shouts of "You're the best teacher EVER!" and having to force them out of our meeting at the end of the day because they don't to leave makesy heart want to explode! My students are incredibly special and make me so proud!

My Project

My virtual first grade students have worked so hard this year and at the holidays I want to make sure they know how much they are loved. With this project I will give my students a holiday themed book, a craft, hot chocolate, and a sweet snack that we can share together on our last day of virtal school before winter break.

There are so many experiences my virtual students are missing from not being in the classroom thatI want to make sure that the holidays are magical for them with this small gesture!
