Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a PSA counselor, my main focus is student attendance. At LAUSD, we celebrate our "milestone days" every 25 instructional days. For every milestone day, I like to host some form of event and decorate the campus in season with whatever holiday is approaching. These special holiday materials will significantly help me boost student and staff morale for each milestone attendance day as well as for the excellent attendance holiday party and the excellent attendance picnic.

Student buy-in is the key to ensuring that each student will attend school on a regular and consistent basis.

I will use the materials in this project to further increase student-buy in for excellent attendance. I will also use these materials to keep my students engaged while at school throughout the whole school year.
