My Project

I know school has just begun but the holidays will be here before you know it! So I am trying to plan to make the holidays extra special for my little learners. The holidays are such a magical time for young children, especially for those experiencing school traditions for the very first time. In my Title I preschool classroom, many of my students are English Language Learners who come from diverse backgrounds. For some, this is their very first school experience, and the joy of sharing books, stories, and games during the Holiday season is something new and exciting.

In Preschool we try to make it a magical time with fun adventures for them to remember!

The holidays are a great time to express the importance of kindness and giving. I would love to share books and games with my students. I want to provide my students with special holiday books and game they can take home to share with their families, helping to build home libraries and encourage a lifelong love of reading.

My preschoolers are energetic, curious, and eager to learn. Many of them are learning English as a second language and benefit from hands on experiences that bring words and ideas to life. This project can also help us share books with the other class during our gingerbread day! They love storytime, singing along to familiar songs, and learning through play. With your support, they will have access to engaging holiday books, interactive games, and stories they can proudly bring home.
