My Students
My school is a Title I school where all students receive free breakfast and lunch. Unfortunately, there are many days that my students come hungry for both knowledge and nourishment. My students are enthusiastic about learning.
My 18 wonderful students come from a very low-income area.
The majority are English Language Learners, and many are homeless. Also, the majority of my class have never been in a school setting. School is a safe haven for many of my students, where they come to learn about the world. I hope to continue feeding their knowledge through this donation.
My Project
My students are sweet little learners. They need a little holiday cheer! I am hoping to get a few items to help fill their little bellies and add a little fun to their holiday break from school. I would love to be able to give them some Grandma's Cookies, Rice Krispies Treats, and a few small toys to add a little fun. Several students move from hotel to hotel resulting in loosing or having items stolen from them. These holiday treats will add some delight into their life as they are going through this difficult time in their life. Thank you for considering a donation.
