My Project

Please consider funding for my project, "Holiday Art to Boost Children's Cognitive Development," which aims to provide all special education classrooms in our community with meaningful and engaging art experiences.

Art is a powerful tool for cognitive development, especially for students with special needs.

Engaging in holiday-themed art activities helps children develop fine motor skills, creativity, self-expression, and problem-solving abilities while also fostering a sense of joy and belonging. Many of our students thrive through hands-on, sensory-rich experiences, and access to quality art supplies can significantly enhance their learning and emotional well-being. I would like for our students to have access to art supplies beyond a Xerox coloring page.

With your support, you would provide classrooms with essential holiday art materials, such as stencils, stickers, and craft supplies, tailored to the diverse needs of our students. These resources will not only support their artistic exploration but also reinforce key developmental skills in a fun and accessible way. Our students will spend numerous hours creating fun holiday craft projects.
