Help me give my students glue sticks to keep their interactive notebooks in great shape and flexible rulers that will stand up to heavy usage during our work with linear functions!

My Students
Each day when my students walk in to our Algebra classroom, they make a choice to learn. There is a quote from Abigail Adams that I share with my students: "Learning is not attained by chance; it must be sought for with ardor and attended to with diligence." My students are special because they exemplify this tenet of education.
My students come from very diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, but they unite to become expert problem solvers in my Math classroom.
As a Pre-Advanced Placement Algebra 1 teacher this year, I relish the challenge of pushing my students very hard to overcome doubt and reach their full academic potential. I want them to be ready for AP Calculus! We remind ourselves each day that excellence is not an act, but a habit. By attending to the details, we will succeed in meeting our big, bold academic goals.
Last, but certainly not least, my students are fun. Their sense of humor keeps each day exciting and interesting. During the lunch tutorials that I host, students regularly come visit to discuss all sorts of interesting topics far beyond Math. I look forward to coming to school because of my students.
My Project
My PAP Algebra 1 students build interactive notebooks each semester to house their resources and work. I am very impressed with the quality of what they have constructed. Each day they glue their foldables (paper-based resources that guide students through the new content) into their interactive notebooks. Unfortunately, our school’s Math department has run out of glue sticks for the year. The rulers that we have used to help us construct excellent lines are also in short supply. Having quality glue sticks and resilient rulers that can handle our rigorous demands is vital to the effective operation of my classroom.
My kids need glue sticks and rulers that will last through our many learning aims and STAAR review period this spring.
These glue sticks will keep the foldables containing important content safely in students’ interactive notebooks. These flexible rulers will stand up to the heavy usage during all our work with linear functions. The Algebra 1 STAAR Exam is coming up in May, and my students are all striving to score commended on that crucial standardized exam. These supplies will keep our classroom work on track. My school district is in the midst of a budgetary crisis, and there is very little funding available for restocking these sorts of materials.
These new supplies will be a pivotal part of my students' success in my classroom this spring. I want to be able to reward my students' hard work with gifts that will help push them even further as mathematicians. Not only will my students this year benefit as they prepare for the Algebra 1 STAAR Exam, but my future students will also get to use these supplies!
