This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a Title I elementary school in Arizona. Our students come from diverse economic and ethnic backgrounds. Over seventy percent of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch daily.
My school's mission focuses on academic, fitness, and personal achievements for both students and staff.
We believe all students can be successful and we try to give them every tool they need to reach their goals. Our staff teaches after school clubs throughout the year that range from art and dance to technology and math. We spend time in our classrooms, on announcements, and at assemblies celebrating the fitness and academic successes of our students and staff.
My Project
Right now, our students are learning remotely and our teachers need more ways to share the lessons with them. Utilizing gooseneck tablet holders will help teachers share work with our online students more efficiently.
These gooseneck tablet holders will help give teachers a new way to share documents and information with our remote learners.
These gooseneck holders will give teachers options of how to project the reading, writing, and math work with online students. Teachers will also be able to use these gooseneck tablet holders once students return to in person learning.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
