This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have the great pleasure of teaching the sweetest 3rd graders! A typical day in our 3rd grade classroom looks very different than it did before the pandemic and I strive to provide students with a comfortable learning space. My students are 8 years old and they are naturally curious learners. They learn best through movement and play activities that keep them engaged.

My students are energetic learners that love school!

They want to learn about the world around them. They are just starting their journey to become lifelong learners and I am looking to make this experience as memorable for them as possible!

My Project

My goal as an educator is always to provide students with the best learning environment possible. A classroom that has seating options allows students to use their voice and choice to find the best fit for them. This may look different from day to day and providing students with different choices will really give them something to be excited about each day.

All kids are active learners.

They enjoy movement and having different seating options gives them a little more control and responsibility over their learning. This small change can have a huge impact on our classroom environment!
