Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our HMS Theatre program is growing, and we use our classroom as a rehearsal space, a training space, and even a performance venue for guests!
These chairs will help our theater students create sets for scene work, allow us to rearrange our room for multiple stage setups like proscenium, thrust, or theatre in-the-round, and invite our school community to experience our work.
The magnet theatre program has produced student written plays, over 30 student written and directed films, immersive theatre experiences, and even a Renaissance Faire! We aim to create even more productions such as open-mic nights, poetry readings, and more.
