This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal with this project is help provide the materials and tools my students need to be successful and equipped from the beginning. In our community our students don't always have what they need when they come to school, help me give them a strong foundation in my music classroom. Both for students first joining music or students already in the program, they need just a few more things to feel setup. For example, tuners to create a class set, students can learn to tune on their own, and this makes the start of class go by so much faster. Egg shakers for my choir students to help learn rhythm and timing a lot stronger than they have ever before! The students at our school have the most magical hearts, and I get to see that come alive in my room, I don't want there to be any barrier for students being in music. Help the students at HMS feel confident and complete so that they can thrive! Thank you!
