My Students
Art, and hands on art projects are wonderful learning experiences. History is a great way to learn about our past and apply it to the everyday world. This program with Bluebrick Studios is a great opportunity to enlighten the students to both art and history.
The goal of the project is to give students a better understanding of history through art.
The art teacher has developed lessons that help the students understand how ceramics were not just art but useful tools to different peoples at different times in history.
My students are physically challenged and developmentally delayed. The hands on history and art lessons will allow them to improve their physical capabilities and improve their confidence.
My Project
The lessons will provide a new understanding of the world for my students. The art and history lessons are a wonderful opportunity and a confidence builder. In the end each student will have a better understanding of history and 2 pieces of ceramic art that they made themselves.
This project will inspire my students to come to a better understanding of art and history.
The students will grow to and understanding that art and history are not only something you learn about but also participate in.
