My Students
I have great kids! They mean so much to me. They get so excited, and thankful for anything new and engaging. My students are ready to learn, curious about the world around them, and love working with each other. Over half of my kids come from a low income households, and a variety of backgrounds. They are wonderful learners, actively participating every day to show what they know, and ask questions to continue their educational journeys.
My Project
Labs are not just for science class! Please help bring labs into my World History class! Making history hands on brings it to life for students. With the requested plaster cloth, rolling cart, and drawing chalk, students will participate a mummification lab during the history unit on ancient Egypt. Bringing history to life is one example of how bringing labs into a Social Studies classroom could instill a love of history in a child. So many students have the idea that history is boring. With hands on learning it can be exciting and fun! Thank you so much for your support.
