This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students in Miami, FL represent a wide variety of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our school is a public charter school that specializes in STEM activities. As a History teacher with a BA in History Education, I love connecting Social Science and the real world and try to find as many activities as possible to use them in conjunction.
My students are anxious learners and I want to do everything I can to meet and exceed their expectations.

My Project
Historical and government graphics will help my students visually learn the different branches of government and eras of United States History. Composition notebooks, binders, highlighters, paper and pencils will help students who cannot purchase class materials.
Headphones will help students for online programs such as CPALS,Civics360, IXL, CNN10, and educational YouTube videos.
All of these materials will facilitate my students' learning and will allow them to pass their Civics standardized exam at the end of the school year.
