My students are enthusiastic, energetic scholars who love to learn!
Using a Project Based Learning model, my students meet rigorous curriculum requirements, which are presented using a real-world context; providing each student with the opportunity to establish their own, unique connection to their school, the community, and the world.
I am truly amazed and inspired by these thoughtful learners who come to school each day with a huge smile, an open mind, and an expectation that something truly wonderful will happen!
My Project
The "Who Is?" book series introduces students to important historical figures who have helped to shape the world we live in. The historical figures depicted in this series will travel through time to my modern day classroom and inspire my students to make their own contributions to the world around them.
Who knows, one of my students may be the subject of a future "Who Is" book title!
In our PBL classroom, my 3rd grade students will be inspired by the contributions of these historical figures to our modern day society! They will learn how others have taken risks (and learned from both success and failure) to improve the world we live in!
