Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It is important that all of my students recognize, no matter where they are from, all of the amazing qualities they each bring to our school family and community. I want to expose them to different cultures and celebrate the contributions these cultures bring to our classroom. In September and October we will recognize Hispanic Heritage month. The students will work on a project then showcase their works of arts throughout the school.

The basic drawing supplies of pencils, markers and paper I am requesting will allow my students to illustrate and design projects celebrating Hispanic culture and allow us to celebrate these contributions not only during Hispanic Heritage Month but throughout the school year!
