Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will help us with promoting cultural diversity not just in our classroom but throughout our school. Most of our school population is Hispanic but they are not really represented. Since their main language is not English they struggle while they learn. I am requesting banners, flags, posters, and cultural diverse books to promote inclusion and to celebrate the student’s cultures so that they feel included and comfortable enough to learn without worrying about being different. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' motivation and engagement by providing a welcoming environment in the classroom.
