My Project
I would like to give my students an opportunity to learn and become more educated about their story. Many African Americans have many achievements that have gone unrecognized.
Children need to acknowledge key figures from the past, present and those that set the way for the future. These books will help with that.
Many celebrities' have life-time accomplishments in this country despite the hurdles they have faced. We need more than just February to acknowledge and celebrate the contributions made by Black heroes throughout history. In recent years, it's also become a time to strengthen allegiance and support marginalized communities.
