My Project

As a first grade teacher I would like to work on more social emotional issues within my classroom. Many of my students are not recognized for academic or athletic activities. I work in a Title One school where ALL students receive free lunch.

I want to make EVERY child feel special and celebrated.

My plan is to create a birthday bag for each student in my classroom. On the day of their birthday I will have the gift waiting for them when they arrive. I am a summer birthday myself so I will NOT forget to celebrate those students as well. If this project is fulfilled each student will receive the exact same items.

Who doesn't like a party? I promise you first graders love getting celebrated and recognized. Help me, Help them, feel special!
